Plexiglass is a lightweight thermoplastic material. Because it is a translucent material, it allows a soft light enter the area, keeping the room light and cheerful. This material is easy to clean and maintain thanks to its smooth and non-porous finish. 

Our plexiglass doors for dogs are outfitted with adjustable hinges. This adjustable hinge keeps the door from slamming shut, keeping the door completely quiet! These doors come in a wide range of sizes. The smallest starts at 10×14 inches and goes all the way up to 17×30 inches with many sizes in between. No matter how large or small your dog is, we have a dog door for you!

The Canine Dog Door is a one way swinging door. To exit, the dog simply bumps it open with his nose. To enter, we have designed it with an angled flange which allows the dog to nudge the door open from the side. The door is lightweight and most dogs find it easy to learn. If your dog is struggling, we suggest purchasing our Dog Door Stop. This is an easily attached to the top of the door to keep the door slightly ajar so it encourages the dog to nose it open the rest of the way. This typically works wonders for timid or harder to train dogs. Once your dog gets used to this process, it will be a breeze for him to go in and out. The angled edge design ensures that both short and long-nosed dogs will be able to open the door. 

These aluminum dog doors do not include locking mechanisms. We recommend purchasing our Dog Door Locks which can be installed very easily.
